With the advent of beautiful Parquet-2 floors, Miele has designed a floor brush for gently cleaning them.
This is the deluxe floor brush on Miele S500i and S600i series vacuum cleaners which are designed to be used with with carpet nozzles having revolving brush rolls. This special Parquet-2 floor brush is 12" wide and 2.5" deep, having brush strips with extra long, soft natural hair bristles along the front and back edges of the nozzle. Wheels on the sides between the brush strips carry the weight and downward pressure on the nozzle, allowing the bristles to glide on the floor without being flattened. Notches in the front brush strip allow dirt to easily enter the nozzle. The elbow pivots sideways like most floor tools for cleaning under low furniture. Two tabs on the back of the elbow allows this tool, the wand and hose to be held by the parking slot on the back or side of the Miele S400i and S500i series canisters.
Also available is the SBB Parquet floor brush which has one short tab on the elbow to mate with the Miele S200i, S300i and S400i series canisters and the SSB Parquet-3 with one long tab to mate with the Miele S4 Galaxy series canisters.
