This SES 110 electric hose is needed to supply the electric to the motor that drives the brush roll when using a SEB 234, SEB 224 or SEB 213 Powerbrush on a S334i Ambiente or S444i White Pearl canister as well as some earlier canisters. The SES 110 is similar to the SES 115 Deluxe Electrical Hose except for the shape of the handle and how it is designed to mate with the chrome telescopic wands. An external cord from the powerbrush clips to the wand and is manually plugged into this hose.
The Miele cleaners which this hose fits are all designed to automatically make the electrical connections when the SES 110 hose is inserted into the cleaner. The swivel mechanism is built into the hose connector in the lid. Later models that have the swivel built into the hose end use the similar SES 113 Electric Hose.
The hose can swivel freely for 360° in the cleaner, enabling you to work conveniently near the machine. This feature also reduces sideways stresses on the hose which can significantly shorten its life span, causing it to tear prematurely. This 1 1/4" (32mm) ID hose is designed to be crush resistant for longer wear as well. This hose can even swivel freely within the curved hose end that you hold, giving even more freedom of movement. A fingertip rocker switch enables you to stop the powerbrush motor for cleaning bare floors with it. |
