Miele's S183 Powerhouse Blue upright vacuum is one of the new and improved versions of the previous models (170 series) which continue Miele's tradition of "Immer Besser" (ever better). This model is powered by a full 10 amps/1200 watts of power which generates a full 55 CFM (cubic feet of air per minute) airflow. It utilizes a new intensive clean 6-quart capacity bag and incorporates a Hepa filter (replace annually). The onboard tools, which include a crevice tool and dusting brush are used with the 5 to 1 stretch hose. A selector switch allows one to turn off the brush roll (12 inches wide) so the machines may be used on bare floors. The S183 (blue) has a twenty two-foot cord and non-marring rubber wheels. It is befitting of Miele's highest standard for power, performance, cleanliness, durability, and is, last, but not least, quiet.
